Improve Employee Engagement
How do we know what employee engagement is best? What if we knew the primary motivation and natural behavioral tendencies for each of our colleagues? Would it help individuals, teams and the overall company knowing Sue wants to work on a projects giving her a chance to receive recognition? Or, that Matt needs to understand why he is doing work before he emotionally commits himself to doing his best? Of course it would!
Unfortunately, we do not wear signs around our necks making it clear-as-day as to what are our motivations. However, it is possible to attain a deep understanding of what individually motivates our colleagues and what behaviors are natural to them.
